Mulwala / Yarrawonga

We had a few days away before Jim goes to get 'rearranged' next week. This motel that we usually stay at is just over the causeway in Mulwala. It is an older style place, with good sized rooms, and excellent shower, and always spotlessly clean. We have come to know the owners fairly well now, and they are always very friendly. They have made a lot of recent improvements, for example....re-done the kitchen area, installed Austar and WiFi, and new shower area.
It is also very close to the water and the clubs, and a good shopping centre in Yarrawonga.
If Jim were able to walk, we could get to all these places on foot, but in the future....who knows?

The Day draws nearer

Just to let everyone know, that next Tuesday 23 Aug. Jim gets his pre-admission test at the hospital.

Then, on Sept 8th.....The big op. Then, 6 weeks on crutches, and 6 weeks of not driving.......How will we stand it? I can't believe it is finally so close. I have to say, that things have got so much worse recently, that it is just as well they brought the op. forward....in the nick of time!!

Kiwi Court

Who remembers Kiwi Court? Yes, this is what it looks like now. The house itself is no different, just the garden. We took a drive down that area today, to see how things have changed. It was a beautiful sunny day, but I had forgotten how windy it is near the sea!

We had a look round all the old places....A thoroughly enjoyable time.
