Finally getting there!
So at long last, on the homeward stretch. We had the bricks stacked behind the shed for years...but not really enough to do anything major. Finally I thought I would just lay them round the pond, to see what we thought.
We decided it was a good use of them, so we went and got some sand and cement, and dry-brushed them in, then hosed it all down to set. This morning, all hardened, so looks like a winner. I have a little more to do to the front, but no more bricks left, so more thinking !!

Little Visitors
Tiff brought two of her kittens from the farm. They were going to be 'adopted' by friends of hers. We had them here for 24 hours, until the new owners came to get them. The one at the front is a really cheeky little fellow, and was in to everything from the minute he arrived. The other one was a little bit slower to explore, but soon got used to everything.
They played, romped around, and then had a nap. I am sure they will be much loved in their new home.

The New Aquisition
Well folks....here is our little shade house that Jim spotted online a little while ago. When he went back recently to have another look, it was on special for $69. We thought that for that price, we'd give it a go, so sent off for it. It was a bit delayed, with Christmas and The New Year, but the other day it arrived.
This is really just for propagating cuttings and seeds when the weather is colder, so we didn't need anything huge. I must say, it is larger than we thought, and while the PVC cover is not top quality, I am sure it will serve us well. We can always recover the frame at a later date, if need be. So there it is, sitting there waiting to be filled up. Neat and out of the way.
