We have just heard!! Jim is to go and see the surgeon on Monday week, August 8th, for a final assessment before the operation. It is at the Maroondah Hospital, so not too bad.After this, apparently there is only a short wait before he goes in to get his new hip.
Now the fun starts! And the nerves have kicked in already, with visions of terrible mistakes and things going wrong. (Him, not me). Still, nothing could be worse than the pain he is in right now.
